Yesterday was an AMAZING DAY!
Cast Iron Skaters have been prepping for this day for weeks now! Getting makeup ready, outfits prepared, outdoor wheels for the skates, banners, etc! Al the hard work paid off greatly!
According to Seattle Pride, approximately 115,000-120,000 people showed up yesterday for the Seattle Pride Parade and Festivities! Cast Iron Skaters was one of MANY amazing supporters of the LGBT community and were in our amazing orange tees! Surrounded with lovely men and women skaters, and marched from 4th and Cherry Street down to Denny!
We saw some amazing people out there and even the Rat City Roller Girls! DERBY RULES!!! After this amazing all day parade, a few skaters headed down to the waterfront and enjoyed a linner (lunch dinner) at Red Robin... YUMMMM
